Honda Kenya is set to spread its wings to Burundi’s capital, Bujumbura. 

The African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank) says Burundi is set to become the newest member of the Cairo-based pan-African trade financier.

Burundi, Rwanda and Tanzania today witnessed ground-breaking ceremony for construction of the 80 MW Regional Rusumo Falls Hydro-electric Project.

The agreements are part of the Ministry’s strategy to expand its international relations and to protect and promote Emirati investments.  

Amid the lush and rolling hills of Mubuga, 100 km outside the Burundian capital of Bujumbura, 2,500 people came yesterday to celebrate the festive ground-breaking for a 7.5 MW solar field that will add 15% to the East African country’s generation capacity.
