S.A. Investors expected in Lufwanyama

A delegation of South African investors is expected in Lufwanyama district for possible investment in the agriculture sector following the launch of Copperbelt Investment Exposition this year.

Agri-All-Africa Chief Executive Officer Dirk Hanekom has confirmed this when he called on Lufwanyama district commissioner Miniver Mutesa at her office.

Mr. Hanekom who deals in commercial farming said Lufwanyama has a lot of potential for agriculture investment because of its soil fertility and rainfall pattern.

He said it is in this vein that his organisation wants to take advantage of the forthcoming Copperbelt Investment Exposition to bring investors to the area.

And Mr. Hanekom has advised the provincial expo organising team to ensure internet facilities are provided in areas where accommodation will be offered during the exposition forum.

He noted that it used to be a hustle to find internet facilities during the previous investment expositions held in Zambia.

And Ms Mutesa has welcomed the move by Agri-All-Africa to bring more investors to the area.

She said the district administration standards ready to receive investors who have a vision to develop the district.
